When sending an e-mail, please tell us the OS version you are using, detailed description of the problem and if possible please attach the error log. If you installed FolderScavenger in the default location, than the error log will reside in:

c:\program files\bytesmith\folderscavenger\folderscavenger.errors

Preview of large listings in Win95, 98, Me

Due to restrictions of Win95, 98 and Me, if you are trying to preview a really large listing, FolderScavenger will not be able to display it due to restrictions of the underlying operating system. All other operations (copy, ok, execute, save to file) will operate as usual.

International characters in file and folder names, under NT, W2K, XP

Generally, FolderScavenger has no problems with file and folder names that contain international characters. The only precondition is that you have correctly set the language for non-Unicode programs in the control panel, regional and language settings. However, if you experience errors with files that have international characters you need to set this option to the language where these characters come from. On the screen shot below you can see the settings used for Croatian.
